Profile

I grew up in rural Scotland and so was fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenery. My parents and grandparents spent a lot of time educating me in the beauty and creatures of the area but like most kids I took what was around me for granted. After my school years I left rural Scotland for the big city in search of education and work.

City life was great but I missed the freedom of the countryside and being able to look out the window at the Galloway Hills and to see all its wildlife………………

Today I still live in a city (London) and my photography is the means that gets me back into the countryside. Someday, hopefully soon, I will leave city life and return to the countryside.
